A connection with the local area

Forel was founded and grew in the Treviso area, a territory with which it has built over time a relationship based on collaboration, responsibility, and attention to people. Over the years, we have supported cultural initiatives, educational projects, and community activities, helping to enhance the place where it all began.

The Wings of Venice

Forel has taken part in the design and sponsorship of the artwork “Wings of Venice”, created by the masters of the Abate Zanetti Glass School in Murano. The installation, composed of coloured glass elements that seem to open into space, celebrates the Venetian glassmaking tradition and the ability of glass to transform into light, movement, and art.

In 2004 after being installed on Venice Island the work found a new home at Venice Marco Polo Airport, welcoming visitors with a visual symbol that brings together creativity, craftsmanship, and local identity.

The Winged Victory

In the heart of Roncade stands the sculpture “Winged Victory”, part of the war memorial created in 1923 by the sculptor Libero Andreotti. The work depicts a winged figure welcoming and supporting a fallen soldier: a powerful image symbolising memory and renewal.

Over time, Forel, together with the Vianello family and company employees, has contributed to the restoration and enhancement of the sculpture, supporting a project dedicated to preserving this important symbol of the local community’s history and identity.

Local expertise

Forel has always believed in the value of relationships built within the local area. For this reason, it collaborates with a network of local companies and suppliers, prioritising expertise in businesses located just a few kilometres from its headquarters.

This choice strengthens the local industrial fabric, encourages the transfer of knowledge, and helps preserve and build the skills that make Italian manufacturing unique.

Summer with the younger generation

Every summer, Forel opens its spaces to summer camps dedicated to employees’ children and the local community, transforming the company into a place of joy, discovery, and shared experiences. Through workshops and outdoor activities, children and young people enjoy educational experiences in a safe and stimulating environment.

An initiative driven by the desire to support work–life balance, offering parents the reassurance that their children are learning and having fun close to their workplace.

Music at Forel

With “Music at Forel” the Vallio di Roncade headquarters also becomes a space dedicated to culture. A musical programme that brings moments of listening and sharing to employees, friends, and partners.

The programme spans different eras and sensibilities, from reinterpretations of pop classics to the music of Vivaldi, as well as masterpieces by Morricone, Beethoven, Chopin, and Bach, transforming the company into a place where technology and art coexist in harmony.
