1976 – Forel is founded on the initiative of Fortunato Vianello
1978 – The first vertical glass washing machine is developed
1980 – Forel introduces its first vertical insulating glass production line
1982 – The company takes part in Glasstec Düsseldorf, presenting a new patent
1987 – The production site in Vallio di Roncade (Treviso) is established
1991 – The automatic sealing robot is designed and introduced
1993-1996 – The Forel machinery range expands with new solutions for glass processors: washing machines, spacer bar processing, and systems for vertical laminated glass cutting
2000 – Forel Service is established, a division dedicated to global technical support
2005 – The new production facility in Vallio di Roncade is built
2009 – The Art. EM vertical Edging Machine is born, destined to become one of the company’s iconic products
2013 – Forel North America subsidiary is established
2015 – The Sorting System is introduced, an innovative solution for logistics and production control for glass companies
2022 – Forel UK & Ireland subsidiary is established
2024 – The production site in Italy continues to grow with a new 9,000 m² building
2025 – Forel North Europe subsidiary is established
2026 – Forel celebrates 50 years of activity with over 30 active patents and fully Made in Italy production. A milestone that becomes a starting point for the next 50 years ahead
